This has got to be my totally favorite mesh band. It's made from the blackest mesh stretchy ribbon, but it's the trim that makes this band stand out from all of the rest. The trim is crocheted about 1/2" wide in alternating charcoal, then white, then charcoal again and no two appear to be the same length. It' incredible to me. I just want to keep looking at it to see if there's some kind of puzzle there that I can't decipher.
To accentuate this creation, Wanda has chosen a wonderful bright yellow 4" bloom center by a clear gem. This is just a spectacular band - no doubt about it.
As in all of the Maggie's Rose hats, the yarn is very soft and stretchy so you don't have to worry about your daughter growing out of the hat very soon, or that it will ever feel rough or scratchy.
The great thing about this stretchy yarn is that it always goes right back into its original shape when you remove it from your baby's head.
