1/8" layer of moisture resistant 100% certified organic Marino wool (super soft -) Protect your mattress or futon with a 1/8" layer of water resistant certified organic wool puddle pad. Wool rarely needs washing because bacteria and mold do not grow on wool. Wool naturally resists mildew, bacteria and dust mites. Ours is organically processed and naturally raised on chemical free land, blended with certified organically grown and processed Australian Marino wool. The happy sheep range in large areas and are fed a good diet. No carbonizing, mothproofing or shrink proofing is used. **To wash, simply hang in shower and rinse with cold water, or Hand Wash or Delicate with cool water; MUST hang dry. NEVER PUT IN DRYER OR IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT WHEN WET. It dries within hours.
